Under counter ice makers usually come with a handy scoop allowing you to dispense ice quickly once it's been made.

Counter Top Ice Makers

Counter top ice makers are often used front of house and are therefore made from aesthetically pleasing materials such as stainless steel which, again, is easy to keep clean. While many of the counter top ice makers produce traditional ice cubes in various sizes, others make ice in a variety of unusual shapes, such as crystal clear cylindrical bullets which are ideal for cocktails and soft drinks alike.

Counter top ice makers tend to also have hassle-free dispensers (many of which are hands-free) making it easy for staff members or restaurant customers to get the amount of ice they need, quickly. Some have a transparent window allowing you to physically see when the ice is ready and most come with a clear LED screen which tells you exactly when the machine is in action - and when the ice is ready. You can even set a timer.

Modern ice makers are quiet and fully automatic. They either have a manual water fill or can be plumbed in using the supplied hose or connections - some offer both options.
