Retro Fine Jewellery (1940s)

This listing is for a 14K yellow gold and round cut diamond illusion cocktail or engagement ring. The ring is a size 6.5; and weighs 1.5 pennyweights of gold or 2.3 grams. The ring has a 4.1 mm round cut diamond set at the center of the face with an illusion setting around it. The diamond has a G/H color and SI2/SI3 clarity and is approximately 0.25 carats. The shoulders of the ring have a row of 3 channel set diamonds, all round cut. The face of the ring measures 6 mm in diameter and tapers to 1 mm at the bottom of the shank. The band is marked "14K", it has been tested and is guaranteed to be as described. The ring is in excellent ready to wear condition. For your Consideration is this Lovely 14k Gold and Jade Set, the Pendant is with the loop is just over 1.5 inches long. The Earrings are just under 1.5 inches long and have Chinese words meaning Good luck plus a beautiful X design, total weight is 9 grams all 3 are marked 14k, looks alot better then my pictures.

Even the book-chain-like links between the flowers seem to call to mind a similar organic, leaf-like image. It is in excellent condition. Clasp Secure and original. Length 18 1/4” with the pendant dropping another 2 1/4 ” below that.

Wonderfully crafted and skillfully designed this brooch is made from a rhodium plated sterling silver and features the initials “RNY” within a beautiful sunburst / Art Deco design with hand etched detailing.

The woman who first wore this wide, masculine-feeling bracelet would have chosen it for its Aztec-influenced style. Sterling silver baubles line each link, interrupted by thick, carved natural Jasper in a deep, grassy green.

Clasp:Original and works securely on both brooch and earrings. Size: 2 1/8” brooch x 1”, 1 1/4” x 1/2" earrings. Age: 1960’s - 70’S.

An oxidized sterling silver background allows for the raised designs to stand out. Each design resembles the stylized abstract depictions of indigenous cultures like the Aztecs and include a grinning skull, a skeletal arm, an eye, various animal creatures, and other symbols.

On offer is a drop earrings in 9carat gold. The Saphiret crystal measures 1.6cm long and is 1cm wide. Please note: the box is not included and for demonstration only! It is thought that Saphirets were first made in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia in the Victorian era circa 1850s when real gold was added to a sapphire blue / sapphire coloured glass. This mixture resulted in a stone which changes colour through a range of brownish purple blues depending on the light. This crystal is old, but the setting is more recent, it is marked 375 on reverse- please refer to the images. Good design, classic drop earrings - highly recommended!
