This is a lovely antique tea caddy box dating to the William IVth period c18 3 0. It is veneered with decorative Brazilian Rosewood and stands on 4 brass ball feet. It has a circular mother of Pearl escutcheon to the front.

In a classic Sarcophagus shape with Brass Inlay Original Hinge, Locks and Caddy lids. You are looking at a stunning Large Antique C1800 William IV Regency Period Rosewood Tea Caddy with Key. It is a beautiful piece standing on 4 bun feet and in good condition with stunning colour to the wood.
Here I have a Georgian Sarcophagus style Tea Caddy in rosewood veneer. I bought this caddy around 1985 when I was active in the antiques trade. The mixing bowl looks right & may or may not be the original as they often got broken, it is certainly from the right period.
8148 Rosewood Tea Caddy. The caddy is of single division form with one section for the tea with the original lid, to the other side is the opening for the mixing bowl. There is a cut glass mixing bowl of good fit, but probably later than the caddy.
It don’t have the key but not Difficult to find one. The interior material it’s maroon colour velvet. It is in outstanding Prestige condition looks amazing and so beautiful. Only one tiny tiny scratch on the back and one on the right hand side of the box as it’s not noticeable and easy to cover it out.
This is a lovely Antique Rosewood Sarcophagus Tea Caddy in good condition with just a small amount of age-related wear as you would expect, but it is also missing one of the bun feet at the back underneath.
A lovely Regency era tea caddy of rosewood with Inlaid brass boulle work. The caddy has the brass inlaid ‘boulle’ work to the front and lid. To the inside are a pair of fitted rosewood tea canisters and a mixing bowl well lined in velvet.
(The caddy is in excellent condition as can be seen from the various photographs. It has two chambers )one for black tea and one for green tea) and an associated mixing bowl. The caddy also has a working lock and key.
The two removable tea boxes are brass hinged (which are in good working order). One for green tea and one for black tea. In very good used condition, showing minor signs of age and wear. The box stands on four bun feet.
