Pool Covers & Rollers
Pool covers and rollers are designed to keep your swimming pool clean and free from the sort of debris that can fall into it, from leaves to insects which are attracted to the surface of a pool as it looks shiny whilst reflecting the sun.
Covers can also function as a safety feature, preventing small children and animals such as hedgehogs, mice and cats from falling into your pool.
Pool covers come as either foldable covers that you can store indoors when not in use, or can be attached to the side of the pool and pulled across using a roller system.
There are also solar pool covers that help to heat your pool by focusing the warmth of the sun into your pool’s water.
Types of Pool Cover
Debris cover – a simple pool cover used to prevent debris from getting into the water. Can be made from different types of material, including canvas and plastic.
Solar cover – as well as preventing debris build up in the pool, these also help to harness the sun’s rays and focus the heat into your pool in order to warm up the water for when you are taking a dip.
Foldable pool covers – usually with their own carry case, these types of covers fold away for easy storage.
Round pool covers – designed to fit over your round swimming pool.
Rectangular pool covers – to fit the classic swimming pool shape.
Octagonal pool covers – many swimming pools come in an octagonal (8 sided) shape. These pool covers are designed to fit this shape of pool.
Oval pool covers – designed to fit an oval shaped swimming pool.
Roller pool covers – attached to one side of your pool, these coversroll up out of the way for when you wish to use the pool. They are then unrolled to cover the pool and prevent debris falling in.
Assembling a roller pool cover
