Exquisite pointed carmine tipped buds open into a mass of large single white flowers and displays a vivid striking red anthers in spring. The bright red anthers of the flowers stand out dramatically against the large white petals.When the plant has finished flowering the anthers remain attached to the branch and form as berries in green and turning in to red purple and black colour before they fall off from the branch.

ACER PALMATUM, young starter plant. A small tree originated from Japan, with beautifully lobed or composed leaves and striking red-orange Autumn colours. Slow growing, it makes an excellent small tree in borders or on the patio (with regular watering) and also great for bonsai.

Species: tetrandra. Genus: Tamarisk. Make sure the tree or shrub is standing straight up, then water slowly to saturate the soil and remove any remaining air pockets. These Willows in the photo are 2 years old, and could be cut for firewood now. Will grow anywhere, if you have waste ground or disused area fill with these for nature or regular firewood. Willows are a good source of early food for Bees.
