P. Magnus is thought to be the third longest stick insect species often reaching a body length of 316mm. The eggs are from a currently parthenogenic colony and they feed on bramble. These eggs were laid in July 2019.

Diapherodes Gigantea "Giant Green Bean Stick Insect.". Eggs are shaped like an elongated barrel and are dark grey in colour with a rough surface. They can be wet or dry hatched with no difference in hatch rate.

Phobaeticus Magnus are among the longest insects in the world with females reaching a body length up to 31.6cm. They are native to Thailand and eat bramble. Picture 1 is one of my breeding females, picture 2 is a mating pair and picture 3 is a 1st instar nymph.
Following on from our highly successful slim line twig pots, we have now introduced the slimline plus twig pot, these new size pots can be used in jars (see photo) net cages in fact almost all types of enclosures.

These can be dry hatched or placed on a damp substrate. These are a lovely miniature species of stick insect, with females (who, as always, are bigger than males due to sexual dimorphism) only reaching between 5.5 and 6 cm in size.
3 Giant Budwing insects- these have all had their first moult and are fairly large now- much bigger than the fairly newborn as shown in the last picture ( the 1st picture shows an adult Giant Budwing).
