Vintage rear Sturmey Archer wingnuts from around 1950 - in complete and clean condition. Cash on collection in south-east London or buyer's shipping.

Sturmey Archer HSX120BX 3 Speed hub gear internals. Brand new replacement gears for XRD3 Sturmey Archer hubs. 165mm axle length. Part of a job lot I aquired. New and unused boxed and sealed in bag. Factory fresh in fabulous condition as the photos demonstrate. Will be sent by Hermes tracked. Very happy to combine postage costs with my other items just message me for a quote. Sturmey Archer Alu Front "Summit" Hub with 70mm Drum Brake X-FD 24" front wheel. Condition is New. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.

Aug 1948. Brake Type. Country of Origin. Spoke Holes.

Dated 1979.

AG 3 speed. In good working order.

It was initially produced in 1939 and I have seen FM hubs dated as late as 1952. Missing oil port. All the profit is put back into the project to cover running costs and to finance the sending of selected bikes to Re-Cycle.

Condition-The hub has been electrically tested and output seems good. The outside of the hub has been fully cleaned and polished. 6 volt. For a 36 hole spoke rim.

Bought new but never fitted or used. See pics.

This hub is one of the best ive had of that era, rust free I have inspected the internals there was a little problem which I have put right its now in perfect working order.

Length across locknuts 112mm, overall length of shaft 145mm. Weight 1.03kg. Date stamp on hub 9/82 (sep 1982). Oil point in hub.

THIS 40 YEAR OLD HUB HAS SPENT ITS LIFE GETTING KNOCKED ABOUT IN ONE BOX OF ASSORTED HUBS OR ANOTHER & HAS NOT BEEN LOOKED AFTER. IT HAS AQUIRED A FEW DENTS & A LITTLE RUST. 28 HOLE.

THE BODY OF THIS ASSEMBLY IS SILVER WITH BLACK.

THIS WOULD BE AN IDEAL HUB FOR A WHEEL ON A PRESTINE RALEIGH TOWN BIKE WITH FREEWHEEL GEARING.
