  • 1950s Langley Pottery (DENBY) Casino Ware Sugar Bowl. Lucerne

    This is a lovely unused 1950s Sugar Bowl from Langley Mill Pottery, Derby (later Denby). Standing 3 “tall ,it is part of the 1950s Casino Ware Range and is the Lucerne Mushroom pattern highlighted with Blue The maker’s mark to the base has faded over the years. No damage that I can see. The pottery was established in 1865 by James Calvert, who was a chemist and druggist in Belper, Derbyshire. The name of the pottery was changed to Langley Pottery Ltd. in 1967 and the last firing at the pottery took place in December 1982.
