Vintage Hornby Tinplate O Gauge Railway No 3 Station Platform Ramps, 1940’s or 50’s, EXiB A nice vintage tinplate O Gauge No. 3 Station with waiting rooms, bookstall and other great lithography plus two platform ramps, in the original box, made by the Hornby Company in England in the 1940’s or 1950’s. Measures 17 inches long (33 inches with ramps attached) by 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall. Has really nice lithography showing the ticket office, station clock, waiting room, posters, Station Master's Office, Waiting Room, Timetables,etc. Marked “Hornby Made in England by Meccano Ltd.” on the edges of the platform and similarly on one edge of the ramp. It is in excellent condition, with little playwear, and comes in a fair original box with stains and some repairs, will make a great addition to an O gauge railway display.

Vintage Electric French Hornby Tinplate O Gauge BB-8051 Locomotive, SNCF Railways, Untested A nice vintage electric tinplate O Gauge S.N.C.F. BB-8051 Locomotive with dark green body with red stripes, black chassis, lever on roof and chrome overhead connectors, made by the Hornby Co, in Paris, France. The locomotive is marked “S.N.C.F.” and “BB-8051” on both sides and “Trains Hornby Meccano Paris” on one end. It is in very good to excellent condition with some marks (missing a coupling ring from each end) and measures 9 inches long (inc couplings) by 2.5 wide and 4 inches tall. The wheels turn freely, but the electric motor is untested. Please see my other O gauge listed – I will always combine postage on multiple purchases.

36 lengths of track each piece is 10". Some of the pieces are a bit rusty but most aren't too bad.

IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THE ORIGINAL HORNBY DECAL ON THE BACK OF THE TENDER HAS BEEN PAINTED AROUND BUT THIS HAS BEEN DONE REALLY VERT NEATLY. I BELIEVE THAT A REALISTIC COAL LOAD HAS ALSO BEEN ADDED FOR EXTRA DETAIL AS I DON'T THINK THIS WAS AN ORIGINAL FEATURE.

Note end connectors missing off the Shell truck.

Excellent all round condition. Works well with good leaver actions. Top quality beautifully made.

Vintage Tinplate Wind Up Hornby O Gauge M1/2 Locomotive Key. VGiB A nice vintage tinplate clockwork Hornby O Gauge Railway M.1/2 Locomotive with green and black body and nice gold detailing. Loco is both forward and reverse drive with brake lever and measures almost 6 inches long by 2 wide and 3 inches tall. In very good condition with playwear, it is in excellent cosmetic condition, but one drive wheel is loose on the shaft and also has signs of fatigue – this therefore needs attention or replacement. Marked “Hornby” on one side of the Loco and “Manf’d by Meccano Ltd. Liverpool” on the other. Comes with a key, unsure if original, but fits well, also an application to join the Hornby Railway Co. and a fair to good original box. Nice collection off hornby done by meccano made off tin I suspect these are 1920s very early pieces . These are sold as seen some are scratched and have rust on . X2 coaches have wheels missing which I have tried taking pictures off Some are bent the engine works with the key please take the time to look at all off the pictures. "KARL BUB" (D.R.G.M.). Tinplate Signals. As you can see from my pics, both sets have considerable paint loss and surface rust, along with a few bends and losses. So they are being sold as a restoration project or for spares.

The Loco is forward drive only with brake lever and measures 5 inches long by 2 wide and 3 inches tall In good to very good working condition with playwear and minor surface rust, the Loco is marked “Hornby” on one side and “Manf'd by Meccano Ltd. This Pullman is in very good used original condition, all the buffers, couplings, doors and handles are all present.

Hornby O Gauge No.2 Special ClockworkLNER Green 4-4-0 Tender Locomotive 234 'Yorkshire' .

This selection consists of 2 no.31 coaches (boxed), no.1 crane truck (boxed), Hopper wagon (boxed), M1 tender (boxed), and 2 un-boxed goods wagons. There may be a delay in responding to enquiries sent outside of these hours.

Vintage O Gauge Clockwork Streamline Locomotive Tender, Poss Chad Valley or Mettoy. A nice vintage tinplate O Gauge clockwork Streamline Locomotive Tender in red with black and yellow detail. It is “The Prince” No 6220 locomotive with fixed key and “British Railways” markings on the tender, possibly made by Chad Valley, Mettoy or similar British maker. The Loco is number “6220” and measures 5.5 inches long (inc coupling) by 2.5 wide and 2.5 inches tall. Total length including the tender is 9 inches. In excellent condition with minor playwear, the clockwork motor and side brake lever both work well. Marked “Made in Gt. Britain” on the top of the cab roof and also on one end of the tender. Vintage O Gauge Royal Scot Locomotive, No. 7171, Brimtoy. Made in England. A nice vintage tinplate O Gauge Locomotive, the Royal Scot, with red and black body, yellow and black detail and fixed key, No. 7171, probably made by Brimtoy or similar English maker, in the 1960’s The Loco measures 6.5 inches long by 2.5 wide and 3 inches tall and is marked “Made in England” on the side in front of the cab. It is in very good working condition with some playwear, paint loss and minor bends in places, the clockwork motor and brake lever both work well. Superb Reduced Price Excellent Collectors Rare ACE Trains Edition Ltd No's Only Made . It will run down to 27" Radi. It is all complete with buffers, coupling's, etc. It has been bench tested & when power was applied it powers up very well.

This rare little engine was not widely advertised when produced (1911) and with the onset of the Great War and its consequences it soon disappeared from the B/L catalogue. Satin finish.
