About Aqualisa Aquastream
Aqualisa is one of the UK's most respected manufacturers of showers and shower accessories, having established a reputation for innovation and design over many years. Their first model pioneered the use of a bi-metallic thermostatic valve to ensure safe and constant shower temperatures and prevent the risk of scalding.
They also developed the Quartz Digital in 2001, which was to become the first ever digital shower. Easy to install and intuitive to use, these showers also come with water saving features, as does the Harmony line of shower heads, which have an eco-spray pattern to reduce water consumption by 25%.
One of their most popular models has been the Aquastream or Aquastream Thermo. These are designed with an integrated booster pump to increase the flow of low-pressure or gravity-fed plumbing systems, and can run at a 'normal' 10 litres or 'boost' 18 litres per minute.
Aquastreams come as standard with the optionally water-saving Harmony shower head, which has four different spray patterns and can be adjusted up and down a 90mm pole. As the pump is surface mounted, it is also suitable as a replacement or retrofit upgrade for older showers and, like all Aqualisa showers, the Aquastream is easy to install with a mains cable and low voltage transformers.
The shower is approved by the British Electrotechnical Approvals Board and is known for its longevity and reliability, coming with a guarantee of 3 years for the thermostatic valve and 2 years for the shower head and kit when bought new.
It is available in sleek and contemporary Satin Chrome, clean and functional White, or a balanced combination of the two.
