About Bio Ethanol Fireplaces
Bio Ethanol fireplaces provide homeowners with a simple, easy to manage source of heat, which provides the same aesthetic and cosy feeling that one would experience with a conventional fireplace. The most prominent advantage, which make Bio Ethanol fireplaces more convenient, is the fact that these types of fireplaces do not require the user's home to have a chimney, gas supply, or another source of fuel which produces black smoke.
Bio Ethanol is a clean, odourless and smokeless fuel which is contained within an aesthetically designed fireplace feature. Some features are designed to be free standing, and can be easily moved around the home or to an external location, and some are designed to be wall mounted within the home, and can take between 30 to 40 minutes to install. These fireplaces do not require any pipes, flues, or chimneys - the fireplace is refuelled simply by pouring the Bio Ethanol into the receptacle.
Also known as Glass Fires, because of the sheet of glass which surrounds the flame, Bio Ethanol fireplaces come in a wide range of designs. There are wall mounted designs, which can be placed within the abscess of a wall to look and feel like an authentic fireplace. Many Bio Ethanol fireplaces are portable, and aesthetically designed to look like traditional fires, with pebbles and fake logs at the base of the flame. These portable designs can be placed in the middle of a living room, or anywhere within the home. Although Bio Ethanol does not produce smoke, it is recommended that the chosen room is well ventilated.
