About Folding Card Table
If your dining table is in a set position, or it's unsuitable for moving around and playing cards on, folding card tables are a good space-saving solution. It could be that you have a regular game night with a group of friends, but you prefer to play in the garage or in a room that is away from the main house. A folding card table is light, mobile, and easy to set up in no time at all.
There are of course many different types of folding card table on the market, including retro, or vintage folding card tables. These tables have a shabby-chic appearance, often with distressed paint, or superficial damage done to them. This damage is often done on purpose, and is a stylistic choice. Sometimes the table is genuinely vintage, rather than something made to look older than it is.
Folding card tables are adjustable in different ways depending on what purpose you need them for. If you're regularly packing away the table, then you can find one with collapsible legs. These legs are often made from metal, but you can find traditional wooden legs with folding joints. On the other there are card tables that only the tops fold out. These can be used as small office desks for one, and then when needed you can fold out the side flaps to start a game of cards.
Many of the folding card tables have a baize or felted top - this is to stop the cards from sliding from the table, but also to protect the surface whilst making it easy to see the various cards, pieces and tokens that may be on the table during a game.
