About Fragile Tape
Nothing is quite as nerve-racking as sending breakable materials via post. In addition to other measures you can take for sensitive packages, using fragile tape ensures that everyone who works with the package is aware of the contents. Unlike a "fragile" sticker, fragile tape is prominent on every side of the package so that postal workers see the tape no matter what the angle of the package. There is no uniform style of fragile tape, though most sellers on eBay offer variations of red text on white tape. Marking a package as fragile is not the only measure for protecting your goods from postal damage. When shipping fragile goods, make sure the box you use is sound and that the item is not up against the side or top of the box. Include cushioning elements to keep the item in good condition. Use fragile tape at the openings and edges to ensure that postal workers treat your package just a little more gently.
