About Gold Pandora Bracelet

The PANDORA jewellery range was founded in 1982 in Denmark, Copenhagen by married couple Per and Winnie Enevoldsen. Initially a small design studio and shop, in which the couple designed and sold individual pieces, the fledgling company grew quickly. As demand increased, the brands focus shifted to wholesale supply, and the couple opened a full-time production facility. In 1996, PANDORA?s signature custom bracelet was created by their chief designer, goldsmith Licbeth Eno Lochte. This design, a completely customisable charm bracelet, became enormously popular, and launched the brand into the mainstream jewellery market. At that point the first German PANDORA store was launched, and was followed quickly by shops in Switzerland, Denmark and the UK. In the following year, the brand began to grow rapidly outside of Europe, with stores launched in Canada, Australia and the United States of America. The brand is now sold in more than 70 countries around the world, and there are over 1000 PANDORA shops, and ten thousand other PANDORA points of sale. The special threading mechanism that allows charms to be added, fixed in place and rearranged on the main bracelet is protected by a patent, and is therefore unique to this range. A huge selection of PANDORA charms are available, all of which are handcrafted. Many different precious and semiprecious stones feature on the charms, which come in silver, gold, white gold, Murano glass and wood, amongst other materials. As well as the intricate charms, PANDORA bracelet accessories include clips and spacers, to keep the charms and beads in place. Bracelets and charms are generally sold separately, although some may be sold as complete pieces.
