About Joules Tweed Jackets
British clothing company Joules was founded by Tom Joules in 1989, when he began to sell country clothing at various outdoor and equestrian events. His mission was to create outdoor clothing that reflected the personalities of his customers and that stood out from the crowd, beginning with bright pink wellies, which were a world away from the dull colours available at the time. Based on the success of these wellies, he turned his hand to reinventing and reinvigorating other garments, building up a brand that quickly became known for both its individuality and its quality.
Since the Joules brand was founded, they have released a number of different tweed coats and jackets. These tweed jackets have been produced in styles for men, women, girls and boys.
In addition to the classic green and brown that are often associated with tweed, Joules have produced tweed jackets and coats in a multitude of other colours, including black and navy. The company has also produced tweed coats and jackets in a wide range of different styles, to appeal to a range of people. These styles include blazers, shooting jackets, long coats, more casual jackets and a selection of other items.
The Joules tweed jacket range varies from loose fitting to semi-fitted to fully fitted jackets. Every jacket and coat features precise attention to detail. These jackets are designed to be functional as well as stylish, with a number featuring a variety of pockets, as well as quilted linings to keep the wearer both warm and comfortable.
