About Lancome Magnifique
French skincare and fragrance house Lancôme has been producing perfumes since the company was founded in 1935. Lancome?s Magnifique fragrance was launched in 2008 and has become a firm favourite of the brand. The scent was created by perfumiers Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier, whose aim was to create a passionate fragrance for the modern woman.
The scent combines hints of saffron, caraway, rose, jasmine, sandalwood, vetiver and nagarmotha. It has woody top notes which fade into a fresh spicy aroma after a couple of hours of wear.
The fragrance is available as an eau de toilette in 30ml, 50ml and 75ml bottles, and as an eau de parfum in 30ml and 75ml bottles. Small sample bottles of 5ml are also available, and a 10ml roll on fragrance had a limited release in the United States.
The perfume?s bottle is coloured in shades of red, with faceted edging which will catch the light on your dressing table. However, to help any fragrance last for longer, keep it out of direct sunlight. Store your Lancôme Magnifique in a cool, dark area.
As part of the Magnifique range, Lancôme produced a matching shower gel and body lotion, which are sometimes available as a gift set along with a bottle of the fragrance itself. Create a really intense scent by bathing with the Lancôme Magnifique shower gel, moisturising with the accompanying body lotion, and then spritzing the eau de parfum on your pulse points; behind the ear and on the wrists.
