The Sky HD Magic Eye is a remote control that is used to operate the Sky digibox. It lets television signals to pass through to a second television set by sending remote control signals to the coaxial cable of the Sky digibox. The Sky certified remote control and Magic Eye works with almost all television brands and all Sky HD digiboxes. To use this remote control, users just need to simply connect it to the RF2 output, via a long coaxial cable that has soldered plugs. They can also have the option to connect it to a double-screened cable that uses screw-connection plugs. An important thing to remember for new users is that they should securely connect the Sky Magic Eye to the RF2 output to ensure there is a good connection between the digibox and remote control. After connecting it to the digibox, users should then connect the Sky Magic Eye to the second television, using a double-screened decoupled cable. This type of cable ensures that the remote control can be used to operate and change the Sky channels properly, when it is connected to the second television. It also helps lessen the interference issues between the television and the digibox. Another important reminder, when using the Sky Magic Eye, is to place it away from the television for it to work properly. When changing channels, positioning it at least three meters away from the television will help.
