About White Office Chair
Office chairs are designed either for use in a commercial office, or to be used at a desk in a home office. It was around the middle of the 19th century that the first office chair was made, and came about because of the increasing number of people who sat at a desk all day to work, leading to the development of features that cannot be found on other types of chair.
Most white office chairs will have a base that allows them to swivel through the full 360 degrees. Many will also feature a built in telescopic gas lift mechanism, which enables the height of the seat to be both raised and lowered to get the most comfortable seating position. They will generally feature a high back for maximum support while seated, and many will also feature arm rests - some of which will be height adjustable.
White office arm chairs can be constructed and finished in a number of different ways to suit a wide range of environments. Some offer a padded cushion and back and are finished with leather or faux leather, while some are fashioned almost entirely from various plastics. Other white office chairs have a mesh design for both the seat and the back.
Both traditional and more contemporary white office chairs are available, with a wide variety to suit all décor styles and personal tastes. Some also feature wheels on the feet, which allow them to be moved across the office with ease.
