Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery AP24
1. In general
These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery (‘Terms and Conditions’) apply to the purchase of products on the website www.autoparts24.dk (‘The Web Shop’) owned by AP24 A/S (‘AP24’). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before you place an order. Any derogation from the Terms and Conditions will only be accepted following a written agreement with AP24. Subject to errors and omissions on the website, including price changes, typing errors, sold out products, etc.
AP24 may modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, with effect for future purchases.
2. Prices
All prices are provided inclusive and exclusive of VAT. Standard delivery is always included in the prices stated; however, the final price including delivery will only be stated when you have indicated the delivery address. The prices provided may incur duties and other local taxes depending on the delivery country's legislation, which is your responsibility to investigate.
AP24 reserves the right to change prices without notice – but not after you have received a confirmation of your purchase.
If you are a business owner, we reserve the right to charge interest on the amount due at the rate of 2% per month after the due date of payment.
AP24 has ownership of the product until the full purchase price including any interest and costs are paid.
3. Ordering
Orders are placed on The Web Shop. Please compare part numbers or contact your local car dealer for more advice to avoid ordering errors. If you need advice on your purchase, you can contact the AP24 customer service. Opening hours of the customer service can be found on The Web Shop.
When you have ordered a product from AP24, you will receive an acknowledgement of the receipt of your order. However, the purchase agreement is only binding once you have received an order confirmation from AP24. AP24 will send an order confirmation once we have received confirmation from the supplier that the item is in stock.
4. Payment
When paying by credit card, you are protected against unauthorised use. AP24 uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in our payment system. This means that data sent regarding the purchase by credit card are encrypted, and only an acquirer (such as Nets or PayPal) is able to decipher them. Neither AP24 nor our cooperation partners can decipher the data.
The amount of your purchase will only be deducted upon dispatch. A higher amount than the one you have approved at the time of the purchase can never be deducted.

5. Delivery
Delivery is made to the delivery address provided. Collection of products in person is not possible. The delivery will take place within the time stated in the order confirmation. Subject to availability of products, discontinued products, extended delivery time and delivery failures from suppliers. In case you are not present to receive your order that cannot be left at the delivery address, an attempt to redeliver will be made again after an agreement with you. You will bear the cost of redelivery of the product. If it has been agreed that the product can be left at the delivery address, you bear the responsibility for the product as soon as it has been delivered.
It is your duty to examine the product immediately upon receipt. This includes ensuring that you have received the exact product you ordered. If you discover that the product is faulty or defective, including having quantitative shortcomings or transport damage, you must contact AP24 as soon as possible and within a reasonable time and explain the nature of the problem. If your claim has been made too late, it will lapse.
AP24 is not responsible for guarantees given by third parties.
Subject to force majeure, including war, civil unrest, natural disasters, strikes and lockout, lack of supplies of raw materials, fire, damage of AP24 or supplier manufacturing facilities, lack of transport options, import or export conditions as well as any other event hindering or restricting AP24 in delivering the part.
In the event of force majeure, AP24 may choose to cancel the transaction, cancel part of it or deliver the product as soon as possible. AP24 cannot be held accountable for any loss that you may suffer as a result of the missing delivery.
If you receive a product that you have not ordered, AP24 will bear the freight costs of the return.
6. Pictures and product descriptions
Subject to discrepancies between the displayed pictures and the actual appearance of the individual product. Subject to errors and omissions in the product descriptions. Installation instructions are not included.
7. Warranty
Your purchase is covered by the lack of conformity rules of the Sale of Goods Act, including the rules on warranty. The warranty only applies to the purchased product, and no spare parts are supplied free of charge. For engines, the following items are considered spare parts: Clutch, turbo, water pump and nozzles etc. In case there is an error in the order or delivery, you should notify AP24 within 8 days of the warranty using the return link on your The Web Shop profile. If your claim has been made too late, it will lapse. Concerning used spare parts, you should be aware that only certain types of lack of conformity are covered by the warranty. Whether there is a lack of conformity will be decided after an assessment.
For business owners, a warranty of 6 months applies. A warranty claim must be submitted immediately or without undue delay after the lack of conformity is detected.
For consumers, a warranty of 2 years applies. However, a warranty claim must be submitted within a reasonable time after the lack of conformity is detected.
In case of a justified warranty claim, the shipping costs for the return of a product will be reimbursed. If the warranty claim is unjustified, you must bear the cost of postage, including our costs of returning the product after our investigation as well as an investigation fee of DKK 300.
Remember that the product should always be sent in secure packaging. You are responsible for the product until we receive them. It is wise to save the postal receipt including information on freight costs as well as a tracking number.
Cash on delivery packages will not be accepted.
8. Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel your purchase within fourteen days without justification. The right of cancellation expires 14 days after reception of the product. We refer to point 10 as well.
To make use of the right of cancellation, you must inform AP24 clearly that you want to cancel your purchase, e.g. by letter or email. You can also fill in the form attached to these Terms and Conditions as an annex or use the complaints and return link in The Web Shop under your profile.
If you choose to cancel a purchase, you must return the product to AP24. For business owners, the right of cancellation will lapse if the product cannot be returned in the same condition and quantity as when received by you. Consumers are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling, except the necessary handling to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. You bear the risk of the return shipment of the product.
You must return the product without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after having informed us that you want to cancel your purchase. The product must be returned to the sender recorded in the return document sent with the product.
You will bear the cost of the return shipment. AP24 does not cover any costs in connection with the assembly and disassembly of the product.
When you cancel a purchase, AP24 will reimburse the payment to your account as soon as possible and no later than fourteen days after the receipt of your message to AP24 about the cancellation. However, AP24 may withhold the payment until the product has been received or until you send documentation to AP24 showing that the product have been returned.
The refund will be made to the credit card which was used to place the order.
9. Special conditions for the purchase of engines
Replacement engines and gearboxes must be returned intact as far as possible. All returned products must be emptied of oil and other fluids before shipment. If not, you risk having to pay for the discharge and an eventual cleaning of the van and damage to other products in the van.
Some motors may have an attached heat sensor with an indicator that melts if the engine overheats. Overheating can occur for example by faulty maintenance or competitive driving and when driving without the appropriate oil or water level.
If the heating sensor has melted, the warranty will lapse. The warranty will lapse for business owners when the engine has not been installed by an authorised dealer.
When you purchase engines and gearboxes, AP24 gives you the option of buying an insurance for up to 24 months through one of the cooperation partners of AP24.
10. Special conditions for the purchase of other products
Cylinder heads (valves, camshaft or similar parts are not covered): Before installing the cylinder head, it has to be pressure tested and surface ground. If the pressure test shows a defect in the cylinder head, the cost of the pressure test will be reimbursed upon presentation of the receipt. For business owners, the amount reimbursed can be a maximum of DKK 500.
Electronic components: Most electronic components require programming after mounting. You may contact an auto workshop for a more detailed review.
For business owners, there will be a deduction of 50% when cancelling a purchase. However, the right of cancellation will lapse if the seal is broken.
After delivery of software, the right of cancellation for both consumers and business owners will lapse if the seal is broken.
Mechanical parts: Used mechanical parts often have scratches and can be dirty. You are advised to check and compare the part number from the removed part before the purchase and installation of a new device in order to make sure that you are buying the right spare part.
Body parts: The condition of a body part can be seen in the code indicating the quality of the product. A used body part often has scratches and minor flaws which necessitates painting.
Car lamps: Scratches on used lamps may occur. There are several types of lighting systems. You can check the type used for your car by looking at the light type indicated on the bulb. Xenon control boxes and bulbs are not part of the delivery. If a Xenon control box or bulb is installed on the light, they are not covered by the warranty.
Panes: Scratches on used glass and panes may occur. You can check whether the pane you need has to be tinted by holding a piece of white paper behind one of your other panes. AP24 does not provide warranty for the heating wires or antennas built into the windows.

12. Complaints, Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
You are always welcome to contact AP24 if you have a complaint regarding a product.
If agreement cannot be reached on a complaint, and if you are a consumer, you can appeal to the Consumer Complaints Board at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Carl Jacobsen Road 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark if all the conditions for filing the complaint are met. A complaint can be filed with the Consumer Complaints Board through the website www.forbrug.dk.
Consumers can also submit a complaint via the online complaint portal of The European Commission. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. The complaint may be submitted through the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, you need to use the following email address of AP24: customerservice@autoparts24.eu.
If you are a business owner, any dispute under the agreement must be brought before the competent Danish court with jurisdiction of the AP24’s domicile.
The agreement between you and AP24, including these Terms and Conditions, is governed by Danish law, unless otherwise provided by the mandatory rules on consumer protection in the country in which you are a resident.
