OLYMPUS is3000 35mm SLR CAMERA...
This camera may look like its from a sci fi movie when in fact its a serious piece of kit! I was a pro photographer for nine and a half years, during this time i covered several hundred weddings plus numerous portraits and model portfolios, my cameras of choice were Canon SLR's, a little later i moved over to Minolta's, My 35mm Dynax 9 was built like a tank and with its AA battery pack fitted it weighed a ton...no, make that a ton and a half !
My own personal choice of camera was the brilliant Olympus is3000, it fitted into my hands perfectly, its controls laid out intelligently and simple to operate, its built in dual tube flashgun offered a maximum guide number of 20 which is pretty powerful, if this was not enough for you Olympus had a seperate flash gun with a GN of 40, this fitted on the cameras hotshoe which was situated just behind the mode input wheel, but its the Olympus's built in zoom lens that steals the show with its 35 - 180 range!
Its digital cameras that now rule the roost and the 35 mm cameras are almost obsolete, there are still plenty of outlets around who will process and print 35mm film so if you see an is3000 for sale snatch it up quick...you'll be owning a piece of history!
