About this product

Product Information

In Push-Over for the Super NES, you are G. I. ANT, a soldier ant intent on gaining access to the crazy world of Captain Rat's Treasure Caves. The only problem is the caves are a tunnel entrance to Domino Domain, a mini-world consisting of nine continents. To open the door to each level, you must topple all of the dominoes on the screen with a single push. The Trigger domino must be the last domino to fall.

The ant you control is very strong. He can pick up the dominoes and rearrange them on the platform-laden screen. There are ten different kinds of dominoes: Normals, Tumblers, Ascenders, Bridgers, Delays, Splitters, Vanishers, Exploders, Stoppers, and Triggers. Each domino is distinguishable by its design and its action when you push it over, when it falls, or when it is hit in a chain reaction. For example: Exploders leave a gap in the platform, Splitters split and knock over dominoes on both sides of them, and Tumblers continue tumbling until they are blocked by a fallen domino.

There are more than 100 timed puzzles to solve in Push-Over. If you solve a puzzle after the time has expired, you gain a token and can buy your way to the next level. You fail in your mission if the Trigger domino is not the last one to fall, if all of the dominoes do not fall, or if you fall from too great a height. Remember, you've only got one push, so use it wisely.

  • Brett Hull Hockey 95 Super Nintendo SNES Game Complete with Box and Instructions

Dear Ebay, It's good that the item is absolutely complete, that along with the game cartridge being present the box and game instructions are also present with the inner case also being present. The game's graphics are good and the game play is fun and that's important in my view as a retro gamer as it helps making the video game fun and enjoyable to play. In terms of what's bad about the product, the only thing that I can say is this video game can be difficult to play and the reason why I say this is I was getting outscored by the game opponent while I scored no goals in return and this undercut the fun I was experiencing in playing this video game. Sincerely, Kevin Stroik

  • A puzzler far too few people know

First, let me say that I gave it four stars purely based on how the music starts to wear on you a bit. I would have given five stars if it had more than one track per group of puzzles or if the tracks didn't wear out their welcome as quickly. That said, on with the review... There are a great many puzzlers that you just know, either by name or by the flood of clones they spawned: Lemmings, The Incredible Machine, Lode Runner, Tetris, Black Box, Oxyd, Bejewelled, Sudoku, Minesweeper... the list goes on. For some reason (fumbled marketing?), this game missed its place on that list. The simplest way to describe Push-over is "Dominoes on steroids". You play as G.I. Ant and your job is to move the dominoes you can reach and then push one (and only one) so that, when the falling stops, all ...
