The coconut shell part of it broke soon after receiving it as, in my opinion, it was far too thin and brittle. The next thing one of the strings broke with the chime which was attached detaching. I have sent two messages to the seller and received no reply. Over the years we have sold thousands of windchimes and this is the first we have heard of the coconut shell and string being to thin and not fit for purpose. We also note your comments about the strong winds and the windchime being blown from the tree and damaged on hitting the ground. We would recommend any replacement windchimes are more securely fitted to the tree.
