      Solid stick and inexpensive

      Bought this for my girlfriend, and I've been using it for last couple of weeks. Ive been playing a Meucci for the last year and I've been using this McDermott for our $ games and been shooting lights out with it. The 400+$ Meucci is collecting dust and I've become a Mcdermott fan and plan on purchasing a G 229 and a Star S 58.by Mcdermott.

      Clear coat on the ferrule???

      I bought the cue and put a new tip on the cue that I shoot with. I found out that the shaft had clear coat on the ferrule. When sanding the tip to match up with the ferrule the clear coat burnt and made a permanent on the ferrule!

      Good value

      I play in two leagues and thought it would be a good back up cue. The cue is weighted well and has a good feel. It is now my go to cue leaving my $200 cue as a backup. Of coarse I cannot attest to it’s longevity yet, but it feels and looks good.

      This is the second McDermott cue I have bought. I let my brother use mine and he wanted one of his own. For what this cue is priced at, it's a very good quality and great for a beginner/intermediate, casual pool player.

      Niceeeeee

      Pool cue came very fast. This was a gift to a friend who had recently purchase a pool table. Loved it. I tried it and the weight is definitely very nice. Good quality and straight and balance. Since I'm not a professional pool player, I can't really elaborate more than my experience.
