    Susan Hayward In An Oscar Winning Performance

    I have always heard about this film, but never saw it until now. Susan Hayward has always been one of my favorites, but I must admit that her character in this film is so ugly and distastful that it bothered me. Oh I know that she was portraying Barbara Graham who was of bad character herself and that Susan Hayward won an Oscar for this film, I still didn't like it that much. I guess it is a matter of taste isen't it ? The film has a great jazz soundtrack which may be better than the film itself, but if you want to see my kind of Susan Hayward watch "With A Song In My Heart", "I'll Cry Tomorrow" (which she should have won an Oscar for) "I'de Climb The Highest Mountain"
