    Fair price for a testing kit that provides confirmation of head gasket failure, or hopefully not! Bung supplied could have had a wider range of taper. It squeezed nicely in to the coolant reservoir on a 2003 Volvo V70R. However, it had to be held in place and pressed down on when used on a 2014 Volvo V40, even though the bung size measured to be suitable as advertised.

    Fairy basic item but worked really well to give me the bad news that the head gasket is damaged and allowing coolant into the engine and exhaust valves. It also has enough liquid to be used to test a few more times if any of my other cars shows worrying signs.

    It does what has been designed for but I would suggest to do pressure check as well, as this one only detects combustion gases in coolant tank, but cause of it is not necessarily head gasket failure. It could be other, cheaper repair. Product itself is simple to use and manual is included in the package. Arrived quickly and safely packaged.
