This is a very nice shade and perfect for everyday wear. It's very reminiscent of a popular Max Factor shade called "Rosewood" that disappeared when the company itself suddenly disappeared (bought out? Bankrupt? Who knows?). Rosewood was extremely popular because it looked great on everyone, a brown neutral with just a touch of rose. This shade, 940 Touchable Taupe by Maybelline, looks brown in the tube, but once applied, it has a subtle rosy hue, which is just right. Creamy, nice to wear.
