    Great DVD, great film!

    I had never seen this movie. Frankly, I'd never heard of it, but after looking up the story behind it and being amazed at the cast that made the film, I had to order it. All of these actors are A-list, but what's so intriguing is they were in that period of their lives when they were just getting started in films; they were all kids! The story itself is really engaging and looks like it was all shot in real locations, not on sets. The lines for most of the characters are simple, but realistic to who they are supposed to be. There's real feeling in the story and acting. This is a Coppola film, and it is well done. I wish I'd seen it when it was released, but that doesn't matter as it may be that I not only appreciate it now, but perhaps maybe more so now. Seeing where these fine actors got ...

    Directors Cut Big Whops dont get taken.

    First the good news the movie has been restored and 22 minutes of deleted footage have been added, Now the bad every scene in this movie has been drowned out by annoying Rock n Roll music no scenes now with no music its turned into a giant music video, the ending music just does not fit the movie and dulls the impact of the scene Beach Party Movie Music, the deleted scenes not that big a deal some bad acting by Rob Lowe and more annoying scenes with Tom Cruise, you're lucky you can buy the original version for cheap, these directors come back after all these years and ruin their movie's my advice leave it alone..

    The Complete Novel

    This version of the movie includes valuable footage that was edited out before the original release. I always loved the book and the movie as it was first released, but this is much better with extra footage.

    Loved this movie
