Powerful and versatile machine
I am absolutely delighted with this fab vacuum. I have had the V10 for several years but this V11 Absolute Extra is way ahead in lots of ways. It is more powerful than my previous model but has a longer battery life and comes with lots of additional tools and even a spare filter. It is heavier than the V10 but attachments can be fitted and removed easier and I find it simple to empty. I particularly like the display that enables me to see the remaining battery power and the power level currently selected. It's a very stylish machine that is easy to use and recharge.I am absolutely delighted with this fab vacuum. It looked immaculate on being taken out of the box, worked well for approx 10 mins but then the trigger that controls the motor started to play up with an intermittent response. I have used the online tool to report the issue - very quick and easy - and we will be sent a replacement motor assembly. Great buy!
Love the V11. So powerful and the auto mode changes between different floor types perfectly. Battery can last up to 45mins, more than enough to do a three bedroom house. Refurbished machine is just like new. Comes in Dyson box with all the attachments. Everything in perfect condition. The Motorhead is a little heavier than my previous machine which is the only downside. But you get used to it. Overall an excellent buy, great product at great price compared to brand new and would highly recommend. Love the V11. So powerful and the auto mode changes between different floor types perfectly. Dyson v11 absolute
this is my first Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner and I could not be more pleased with it , the results are amazing even after using my corded Miele I used the Dyson straight afterwards I couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that came up from my carpets wow , the suction power is excellent I must admit at first I was sceptical as to how well it would pick up but my fears were soon allayed, the torque drive motor head is amazing it just goes into auto mode and adjusts the suction accordingly although you can manually adjust the setting to eco to prolong the battery whilst in use , I have carpets and hard floors throughout my house also 2 dogs , I was so impressed with the v11 I let a family member try it out and he purchased the same model that same day , the container that holds the dirt does ... this is my first Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner and I could not be more pleased with it , the results are amazing even after using my corded Miele I used the Dyson straight afterwards I couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that came up from my carpets wow , the suction power is excellent I must admit at first I was sceptical as to how well it would pick up but my fears were soon allayed, the torque drive motor head is amazing it just goes into auto mode and adjusts the suction accordingly although you can manually adjust the setting to eco to prolong the battery whilst in use , I have carpets and hard floors throughout my house also 2 dogs , I was so impressed with the v11 I let a family member try it out and he purchased the same model that same day , the container that holds the dirt does need regular emptying throughout my cleaning routine but it’s so quick and easy to empty that I don’t find it a problem, I have not ran out of battery power after cleaning my entire house it always has plenty of charge left unless you put it on the boost which will drain the battery fast but I haven’t needed to use that setting at all , I like the docking station so I know whenever I go to use the vacuum cleaner it always has power because of the automatic charging which will turn off once the battery reaches capacity, I can’t honestly say how long this v11 will last but with my two year warranty I have worries, yes these machines aren’t cheap but in my opinion you get what you pay for , I must admit I thought long and hard before I purchased the Dyson and I’m so glad I made the right choice , my advice to anyone thinking about buying one should certainly give it a try as you can return the machine within 30 days if your not entirely happy for a full refund this includes free return postage , What’s not to like just buy one and see for yourself.

Bought Cordless V11 Absolute from Currys. Things I liked. - Top cordless vacuum on Which. - It easily does my house in one charge. (Had 2 x heart attacks and not good on my feet.) - Very powerful and extra when you need it. (3 power modes) - Cleaning is fabulous on carpet. - Fabulous second by second battery indicator level. - Mess free tool change and emptying. - Auto head feature gears up or down to suit the floor type and save battery life. Great Feature! - Tools are well designed and you will find that you use them lots. - Stairs are a doddle. - Getting between and underneath furniture fantastic. - Ignore reviews suggesting the switch is a problem, It isn't. Dyson include it to preserve the battery life span. Intermittent stops prolong life for extra years use. Things I did not ... Bought Cordless V11 Absolute from Currys. Things I did not like. - Charging time. 3.5 to 4 hours. - V11 is Dyson's heaviest cordless at 3kg. I cope with it well, the V10 is lighter but has less battery life, suction and will not come with the Auto head. I can not quite believe the difference this has made to my life. Now, the thing is my house was dirty with a big shedding dog. The V11 cleared up the lot, then some. I used it heavily, deep cleaned everything and the switch broke after 2 weeks use. Nevertheless Dyson replaced it immediately, no quibble, no questions. They told me I have just been unlucky as mine was the only one they had ever had back, and yes I believed them. You get a 2 yr guarantee and if you don't like it after the first 35 days they will give you your money back. No matter where you originally bought it. They simply swapped the machine for a brand new one by post. Another useful point is that when Dyson cordless machines are out of guarantee you can get parts easily and the machines are easy to DIY. It is part of their sustainability ethos. You can also book an engineer to come out to you fixing everything for £99 with a free battery replacement and a further guarantee. I advise you think again if you want to buy an alternative to a Dyson Cordless. Which magazine say you can not get parts for a Samsung Powerstick pro for example and I am not sure about any extended guarantee arrangements. You would have to look into it. Finally, Whatever your budget. You will not regret this purchase. Should you buy it. Yes!
