Always use TurboTax
It's the easiest way to do you taxes yourself. It's very thoroughly and reliable. I've used this software since I started working 15-16 years ago. Quick & simple. The only problem if you work in one state and live in another I have to shell out $39.99 + tax to pay for the 2nd state. Turbotax could make a software for a bit more money that includes two states & federal. I.e. I have used Turbotax Deluxe for the past 6 years and am very pleased with the product. It is very user friendly and walks you step by step through tax topics with help links if needed. Noticed that the 2017' Deluxe software does not cover K-1's as completely as it did in the past and recommends upgrading to the home office/business software but what it did cover was perfect for my situation.
