This is a pretty serious compilation: over two and a half hours on two discs. Good buy for the money.

    Rock on , VH !

There was an earlier Best of Van Halen Volume One, but it only had a limited number of tracks. Best of Both Worlds has double the number of songs. What I don't understand is why the songs with lead vocals with David Lee Roth, are mixed with tracks with Sammy Hagar. Why not have David on CD 1, and Sammy on CD 2. There is ample music from both, and a great selection throughout their career. Highly recommended.

Disk number two does not sound correct. ...

Disk number two does not sound correct. It makes a noise reminiscent of a vinyl LP with a scratch but the scratch is set at 78 RPM. But the First disk is amazing and the artwork is EPIC!

  • good title "Best of both worlds", and it has the Van Halen guitar artwork on the CD cover

It's a great two CD set , with the Van Halen hits from the early day to the newer days with both singers.

  • Had to get

I had to get this cd. Not just because of the great deal. But they were my favorite band to listen to growing up. But the previous owner did keep it in great shape for me to get it in.

  • Must own CD

Great collection (36 tracks) of all the songs you wanna hear from Van Halen & Van Hagar over the years. Plus, it is packaged in a really cool embossed case.
