    Simply great value.

    I recently bought this and was not really sure what to expect, in a word its brilliant. OK there are better bits of glass out there but not at this price point. An f1.7 AF lens for the price that these go for is simply amazing and really does take some beating. The lens is well made considering its price point and the images it renders are simply great, at f1.7 you get a nice bokeh and lovely clear centre ideal for portraits, ramping up the f stops leads to lovely clear images across the frame. If you want a fast piece of glass and do not have much to spend these are definitely worth looking at.

    "Compact Affordable Sharp"

    Compact, affordable and very sharp. The max aperture of 1.8 seems perfect for low light or those times when you want subject separation or the artistic flexibility of a shallow depth of filed. The lens is very sharp and amazingly affordable, the 50mm "standard lens" equivalent of a full-frame camera. I've shot both still and video with it and it's excellent. Highly recommended.

    Sick bokeh and good low light performance

    its a decent lens, especially for the price. it has wicked bokeh for the price range and it is a fast lens at f1.7 making it good for high shutter speeds and low light performance. focus ring is big and easy to use. With a sleek slick design and good performance this deffo bangs for your buck

    PANASONIC Lumix G 25 mm f/1.7 Standard Prime Lens

    I bought this as my prime portrait lens for an Olympus OM-D 10 Mk 2. Got to say I've not been disappointed with it. Really sharp images with nice tonal range and better than my kit 14-42mm Zuiko (in my opinion) - but then it does have less moving glass.
