Great author
I picked up my first Harlan Coben audio book from the library by chance, and I've been hooked on him ever since. His books consistently have the perfect combination of suspense, well described action that doesn't pull punches, character warmth and sarcastic humor, all in a natural writing style that adds life to the characters and the story. He draws the reader into the story, with insight into the character's personality, background and with details of their appearance that allows the reader to virtually see the character. His writing style develops several sub-plots, move from one to another, and leave you hanging with every chapter, always wanting to find out what's going to happen next. And at the end, he ties all of the sub-plots together, usually with many surprises and with a bang ... I picked up my first Harlan Coben audio book from the library by chance, and I've been hooked on him ever since. And at the end, he ties all of the sub-plots together, usually with many surprises and with a bang that leaves your heart pumping. Not only is the story and the writing style terrific, but the reader of the audio book is a remarkable and gifted actor who portrays every character well enough that it's easy to distinguish between them, aside of the fact that Harlan makes sure that you always know who's speaking and with frequent reminders of who the character for those who lose track of the relationship between the multiple characters in the story. I loved Hold Tight, and no matter which on of his books you read, you'll be hooked too.

This book, although fiction, centers around the subject of what parents need to do or not do to keep their children safe...and if it makes a difference. Beyond that, "interesting topic"...this books was one of the best books I have read in a long time and I read a lot. Harlan Coben is a relatively new author for me; and is certainly one I am going to read more of. I couldn't put it down and I enjoyed his writing tremendously. This author was recommended to me and I decided to purchase the book and I can't think of anything that I did not like about it.This book, although fiction, centers around the subject of what parents need to do or not do to keep their children safe...and if it makes a difference. This is a vary good book i love how Coben brings other people in from other books he has written. My favorite is Winn . Hes one bad ass prep.

we loved the book. It was very exciting to listen to while driving on an extended trip. It is one of Coben's better stories.
