I was pleasently surprised by this album. Pat and Neil return to their rockin roots. I hadn't heard many of the songs until I actually bought the album, and it was well worth the investment. "Girl", "Please don't Leave" and "Brokenhearted" are my favorites reminding me of the songs from "Crimes of Passion" . "Out of the Ruins" is a nice departure and a lovely song. If you are a Pat Benatar fan or a fan of late 70's early 80's music, you will love this album.
As a teenager and young man, I grew up listening to Pat Benatar. I liked her hard-rock, edgy music which she delivered in her sexy and tracic voice. Then, in the 1990s, she went soft, and she continued to make records that were way too soft for me. But, all of a sudden, she has returned to he hard-rock, edgy sound that made her such a popular singer back in the late 70s and throughout the 80s. If you've missed the hard-rocking Pat, she's definitely back with a strong CD in "Go." Even the CD cover is reminiscent of her tough-girl days. Go, Pat, go!
It's nice hearing those familiar vocal chords again. Edgy, hard-nosed, flat out hard rock tracks with some melody-driven softer pieces for balance. The first 6 songs could all be hits but for the current radio industry agenda (a whole 'nuther discussion!). Geraldo's guitar work is like fine wine, and he is a competent producer. Pat's pipes are perfect and her harmonies, high notes and growls are spot on. NO dinosaurs here. Turn UP track 3! Enjoy!
Really true Pat. This was wrote after her brother died and the song relate to her feelings. Love

Pat could sing the phone book and I'd buy it! Vocally, this woman can do no wrong. She is the real deal. As with every new Benatar album, Go is unlike any of her others. She always manages to keep it fresh and interesting. Not much more to say, but just GO get it!. . . you won't be disappointed!
I have been a big pat benatar fan since the beginning of her career.although this cd is a good but is missing the rawness of the early years.I am very glad pat has continued making music instead of hanging it up.she is too talented to ever quit!!!
Pat rocks!
