    Best nighttime dry eye treatment on the market

    My wife has a dry eye condition and needs to put stuff in her eyes at night and she reports that Refresh MP is the best such product on the market. Walmart markets an Equate brand called "Restore PM" but it's not the same formulation and she says it is too runny. She has also tried Gen Teal and finds it also a poor substitute for Refresh PM. the mystery is why the stuff costs so much! Its only ingredients are Mineral Oil and White Petrolatum. Are those ingredients that expensive? Walmart used to be the best source at about $10.00 per tube but now their price is nearer $15.00 a tube.

    Very soothing gel product

    i'm aware of this items recall!!! This is why I purchased more ASAP!! This is a life saver for me since my eyes cannot produce tears. :( The gel is easy to apply just before bed and keep in eyes through the night. I wake in the morning and my eye lids are not stuck to my cornea causing terrible pain as they tear of from eye when opening them in the morning. I've had this problem most my life and now rest in peace thanks to REFRESH PM. Thank You! GREAT PRODUCT!!!

    Lubricates well, gets hard to dispense from the container.

    This stuff lubricates very well because it is quite viscous. However that benefit of viscosity is also an issue because you have to squeeze the bottle very hard to dispense a drop. This becomes even more of a problem as the product is used up and the bottle empties; you have to squeeze VERY HARD. I've read lots of reviews that complain about that very thing. Nonetheless I think this is a great product for dry eyes. I rated this product as a good value, but as they say "it ain't cheap."

    Great nighttime eye lubricant!

    This is an excellent product for eyes that get dry at night. I use it nightly. I probably use more than I need to, but I want to be sure my eyes are fully lubricated and protected while I sleep. The tube opens easily, the lubricant comes out of the tube easily, and the lubricant does its job. Can't really ask for more! I've tried several other similar products during the time when Refresh PM was unavailable, and while this product is a tad more expensive than the others, now that it's available, I am happy to pay a bit more and get a product of the highest quality. I recommend this product highly!
