      Great item to have so time saving - a bit unwieldy at full stretch but would not be without it

      Very easy to assemble is of good quality and works as expected. I love the reach and ability to set different angles for the head. At full stretch ahead of you and with the head in a straight line its fairly unwieldy but workable but this becomes less as the angle becomes nearer to 90 degrees and the pole gets more vertical. I bought the bare tool as I have several batteries from the Power for All range. This saved about 1/3 of the cost.

      A great piece of kit for cutting tall hedges (and trees with new growth)!

      The Bosch 18V Hedgepole is an excellent piece of kit, where I found it to be perfect for lopping some very tall hedges, shrubs and trees (obviously not large branches though). I purchased the Bosch Batteries separately, where I bought a pack with a charger and two batteries, however I was surprised at just how long one battery actually lasted before needing recharging. My only criticism is with the strap that was provided with it, where one of the metal connectors broke on its first use. However I contacted the company I purchased it off (Lawsons), where they have sent a replacement strap out straightaway. I guess this has probably occurred because it is quite heavy to use, and particularly when fully extended, but it does appear to be well made and It’s probably as a consequence of ...

      A hedge trimmer that does exactly what it says on the tin.

      This trimmer was delivered expediently. The assembly instructions were good. It is very light for a tool like this. Whilst it is not marketed as the most powerful trimmer, it performs remarkably well & is more than adequate for privet & ivy etc. It will also handle laurel & small branch conifers. I had the batteries previously included in the Bosch drill set. They outlast my needs.

      Really good for keeping on top of new growth lightweight and well made

      For an 18volt cordless, this is a pretty good machine, wouldn't want to use it on heavy stuff but it's Brilliant for keeping on top of new growth, fairly light and the battery lasts about an hour, I use the batteries from my Drill, yes I'd recommend it for light stuff, it did take a while to get here (about 3weeks) but it arrived when they said it would so no sweat.

      The product is great although i feel that the advert is misleading re the battery the advert waffles on about the battery leading you to believe there is a battery included but there IS NOT..luckily my husband had a battery from another device so used that and the hedge trimmer is just dandy
