    Maybe because it is a discontinued shade

    This eyebrow pencil is so dry that I can hardly apply it without fear of breaking the point. It is the discontinued Taupe shade so perhaps it is just old. I do not recommend buying it in this shade but I, myself, will not be trying it in another shade. Shipment was timely, just didn't like the product.

    Frustrating Pencil with Terrible Color Pay-off

    The pencil is hard. I tried to soften it by holding the tip between my fingers which didn't help at all. The pencil will not apply to the skin smoothly; instead it hits and misses the brow area creating a mess. I tried using it for 5 days in a row with the same results and tossed it into the trash can.
