    Well, the inserts and the discs are all in pretty good shape. Even includes the authenticity certificate! Unfortunately, the case is in pretty lousy condition. The plastic slot in the middle, which holds disc 2, had its hinges snap. I don't know if that was during shipping or what, but I have to be pretty careful when putting this away. Oh well, at least the discs aren't damaged or anything.

    Funny and engaging, rare silent-era cartoons, finally available for public view after 70 years.

    Great to see these long prevented-from-view cartoons finally released from imprisonment in the Disney vaults, not that it was Disney's fault -- it was Universal's! However, if Disney hadn't lost the rights to Oswald, he never would have created Mickey Mouse, so I guess all's well that ends well. Great to see these cartoons, nevertheless.

    The Disney icon ever created

    Oswald the lucky Rabbit... The first character to be one of Walt Disney's earliest creations ever brought to the world. The cartoons are very entertaining from their hay day, with 13 cartoons included: Trolley Troubles Oh Teacher The Mechanical Cow Great Guns! All Wet The Ocean Hop Rival Romeos Bright Lights Ozzie of the Mounted Oh What a Knight Sky Scrappers The Fox Chase Tall Timber Walt Disney actually made 26 Owsald cartoons before Owsald was stolen by Universal, but are now slowly being found today. Maybe one day we can ALL his cartoons DVD also includes a story of Ub Iwerks: the hand behind Mickey Mouse, as well as bonus cartoons before and after Oswald. This is a must have for collectors and fans to know more about this LUCKY rabbit other than Epic Mickey.

    Great historical treasure

    This DVD set is a great retrospective on the often forgotten history of Disney's first true mascot character. The first disc contains most of Disney's Oswald cartoons made in 1927-1928. The second disc contains a fantastic documentary on Ub Iwerks who was instrumental in the success of Oswald and later Mickey Mouse. A fantastic set of cartoons and historical documents that shows what the Disney studio was like before Mickey
