This is a good quality weather station with USB connedtion to computer and a memory storage funtion on the receiver. I have used these for years and it was exactly what I needed to replace my old one. Highly recommended

Quality item but a bit dated. It came with a CD to input info into PC but modern PC’s don’t have CD drives. Also the levelling bubble is on the top surface but when installed on a pole it’s difficult to see.

  • Good price, well featured.

Well priced entry level weather station which can be monitored using a PC. I have mine plugged into a raspberry pi running ubuntu 20 with the weewx weather app as I don't run windows - you don't need anything powerful. If you want to put this home weather station on the internet, you can view the current readings and history using weathercloud.net for free as this station is one of the supported ones. Not the world's best weather station as you can pay £100's for a top of the range one, but for less than £100 this does most of the things you might want to do. The sensors are on a pole above the garage roof and the receiver is in the living room. Contrary to the description the new version does not come with a stub mast. Any metal pole will suffice so not a problem I had some issues with ...

  • Great value for money if you are an amatuer weather watcher

This is my third version of this product over the last 10 years. It has always offered remarkable value however the anemometer bearing remains vulnerable in seaside locations unless regular lubrication with spray grease is used ( WD 40 although effective in certain uses, is not appropriate ). The revised easweather software is an excellent improvement. Given the aggressive environment at my seaside location, I would appreciate a source of replacement plastic parts which inevitable degrade over time. Any further improvement in the brightness of the indoor display module would be much appreciated but this product is an excellent value for money product

  • Good value weather station

Now it's set up, the unit works well, including the download facility to my W10 computer. In the advertising the rain-gauge resolution is quoted as 0.1mm. It isn't: it's 0.3mm. The LED on the sensor unit is too dim to see in sunlight, and the set-up and synchronising instructions are far from clear. I tried various combinations of trying to get the system to link up, and failed, but eventually it just started working for reasons I don't understand, and has continued to do so.

  • A Robust & Reliable Product

It is an older version with a B&W Screen. I have used these models for years and they are great. Easy to install and they keep data for a few days which you can upload to the Weather program via USB. I bought this as a replacement for my previous one which had stopped working after some years.

  • Can’t blame it on the weather, - without a data log of all the evidence

.The joy of old age: grannies’ elbows, gout, arthritic wrists and fingers. Now I understand my grandfathers' obsession with barometer tapping. Thanks Nevada, if my grand kids just mention grey plastic whirly things Their ensnared with grumpy moans head on, fully backed up by science.
