Hornby tank engine.
It is a lovely little engine that runs really nice, what I will say is when you first start running it it is a bit noisy. There is no cab detail but you cannot really see inside the cab anyway. I did take the engine apart and oil the oiling points which does make it run better. If you do take it part be careful with putting the cab back. It did take me over half an hour to do it without breaking anything...be warned.

Noisy mechanism.
The loco was delivered in good time and was well packaged. Straight from the box, even after oiling, the loco did not run well as was very noisy. Slight readjustment to the motor. positioning and some cleaning seems to have cleared the problem although a running period may improve the situation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little industrial work horse
My only real complaint is Hornby could use a more up to date motor rather than the old scaleextrix one which is a bit noisy for the loco; on balance I still prefer it to the version made by D J ModelsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
