The Magnum Opus Of Arcade Racing
Even though this game only has 185 cars in it's roster and 19 tracks, everywhere else in this game shines. I personally think this is the best Gran Turismo Game ever for one reason, the chase cam. The chase came is way better than the static one in all other games. It gives a sense of motion and makes the cars feel faster. Its also very familiar if you play arcade racing games. I play this game more than all the other GT games available, it's just so fun (especially if you get the Logitech steering wheel kit). I remember the day this game released and how much it impressed people with it's graphics. On a nice crt tv, this game still looks just as good as it did day 1. You'll still find plenty to do in this game, but it's slow to start admittedly. However, once you get going it only gets ... Exactly what the product is supposed to do, playable with no problems. My ps2 overheats sometimes cause i have the original ps2 but thats not the games fault its the fact i play my ps2 beside my fire where it reaches 85+ degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. the game does exactly what it used to do when i owned this game 15+ years ago.
