    new grinder /cutoff tool

    excited when I saw this on line as I have multiple 12v Bosch tools. this is the first compact 3in battery powered cut off tool I have seen, and it is as handy as a shirt pocket! love the angle head, much easier to use in some situations than an air powered die grinder. and no cord or air line to drag behind you.

    No gearbox? Grossly underpowered, no torque.

    Unlike a normal angle grinder, there is no gearbox! The handle is hollow with the motor connected directly to the spindle, making it grossly underpowered. Zero torque and basically the same low quality as their Dremel-style rotary tool (which I also own) or an air die grinder at half pressure.

    Incredible tool!

    Incredible! Used it the first day to cut off a stainless steel drive shaft on an outboard and cut thru with no issues (and plenty of battery left). This is now my favorite tool.
