Terms and conditions of the sale
1. PAYMENT
We accept Pay Pal only for all eBay purchases,
Unpaid items will be referred to eBay’s unpaid item assistant if payment has not been received within 3 days of the order being placed.
 
2. DELIVERY AREAS:
Delivery is strictly to UK MAINLAND only.
Our carrier’s definition of ‘UK MAINLAND’ is ALL ENGLISH & WELSH POSTCODES, plus the following SCOTTISH POSTCODES only: DD, DG, EH, FK, G, selected KA (excludes KA27 & KA28), KY, ML, TD, AB1-16, AB21-AB25, AB30, AB39, PA1-PA19, PH1-PH3.
To clarify:
ALL OTHER SCOTTISH POSTCODES (NOT LISTED ABOVE), PLUS THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND & OTHER UK ISLANDS, ARE DEEMED REMOTE. WE CANNOT DELIVER TO THESE AREAS AND ORDERS PLACED FOR DELIVERY TO ADDRESSES IN THESE LOCATIONS WILL BE CANCELLED.
 
3. HANDLING & SHIPPING TIMES:
(3.1): FREE POST:
Please allow one working day handling, plus allow up to 3 WORKING DAYS for delivery by Courier, or up to 7 WORKING DAYS for Royal Mail 2nd Class post.
(3.2): 24HR COURIER OPTION:
If order & payment is received BEFORE 10AM (Monday - Friday), item/s will be rushed for same day picking and dispatch; delivery will be on a NEXT WORKING DAY service. If order & payment are received AFTER 10AM (Monday - Friday), the order will be dispatched the NEXT WORKING DAY, for delivery the FOLLOWING WORKING DAY.
 
4. DELIVERY INFORMATION:
(4.1): Shipping is to the address provided to us by eBay. We cannot ship to an alternative address provided in ‘notes’ at checkout, or via eBay message (before or after an order is placed).
(4.2): A mobile telephone number is required on all courier deliveries, as our carriers use a text notification service for delivery times and updates. We do not share buyer’s contact information with anyone else other than the carrier. If a buyer fails to provide a mobile number, we will use the buyer’s registered email address instead to send contact re: delivery.
(4.3): It is the recipient’s responsibility to check their order on delivery. If an order is not checked, and loss or damage is noted after items have been accepted, it will not be possible to make a claim against the carrier.
(4.4): If a buyer would like an order delivering to a neighbour / leaving safe (in the event of them being out on delivery), this is at their own risk in the event of loss or damage.
 
5. FAILED DELIVERIES
ALL ORDERS ARE TRACKED AND REFERENCE NUMBERS ARE UPLOADED TO EBAY UPON DISPATCH. PLEASE REFER TO THIS INFORMATION BEFORE OPENING AN ITEM NOT RECEIVED CASE.
 
(i) For orders being delivered by courier:
 
- A signature is required on delivery. There are up to 3 attempts in total, all of which are GPRS tracked, and logged online. IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT DELIVERY, OR IF YOU WANT TO GIVE INSTRUCTIONS, please manage your delivery online at: https://www.ukmail.com/manage-my-delivery/manage-my-delivery
 
- If no instructions are given to us at the time of order, and no one is available to sign for delivery, the recipient will receive a notification from the carriers to advise that delivery has been attempted. This may be by text message or email and not necessarily a calling card. Failed deliveries are returned to the delivery depot and it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the carrier to arrange delivery for an alternative day, or arrange delivery to a neighbour or safe place, or collect the goods in person.
 
- If a buyer fails to rearrange their courier delivery within 5 working days of the original attempt, or if they miss all attempts, the order will be returned to us as a failed delivery. It will not be possible to manage the delivery online / stop a return after this period of time has passed. Goods returned as undeliverable will be treated as an unauthorised return, see point 7 below for more information on unauthorised returns.
 
(ii) For orders being delivered by Royal Mail:
 
A signature is not required for delivery, but orders may be returned to the sorting office if no one is home to accept them, if the item will not fit through the buyer’s letterbox. In these circumstances, Royal Mail should leave a card and it would be the buyer’s responsibility to either collect the goods in person, or re-arrange the delivery via Royal Mail’s website / sorting office. If no card is left, delivery attempts can be seen by entering the parcel number and address details on Royal Mail’s website.
 
6. RESOLVING PROBLEMS:
If something goes wrong, or we make a mistake, please send an eBay message before resorting to opening a case.
(6.1): ITEM NOT ARRIVED YET?
Please refer to your tracking if an order does not arrive within the expected time frame, if there is a problem, send an eBay message so that we can investigate. Please consider before opening a case: Tracking details are added to all courier orders as they are dispatched, and our courier texts or emails delivery details to buyers. Drivers are also tracked and can therefore be traced to delivery locations at the given times and dates of attempted deliveries.
(6.2): If an item goes missing in transit, it cannot be deemed as LOST until we have been given the chance to locate it. Our carrier requires SEVEN DAYS to carry out a full network search. If an order cannot be located within this time, we will refund or replace the order and make a loss claim. Should our claim later be rejected on the grounds that the goods were located and later accepted by the buyer (who already received a refund or a re-ship), then full payment will be required and the buyer will be invoiced. If the invoice remains unpaid after 14 days, then the debt will be passed onto a collection agency.
(6.2): DAMAGES:
A full refund or a replacement order will be offered, providing that delivery is refused and the goods are returned and received back by us in damaged condition. We cannot replace or refund any order if the goods have been signed for or accepted (or if they were left safe at the buyer’s request).
(6.3): LOSS/MISSING ITEMS:
All parcels are check-weighed. If an item is missing from an order, please contact us as soon as possible with a description of the problem. Please open your order before making a complaint to us, for example, 2 x 15kg bags are sent in one large bag as ONE piece which contains two bags. For consignment deliveries where orders are sent as more than one piece, parcels may not be delivered together as they can get separated at the sorting hub and be sent on different delivery vehicles. The online tracking will determine if carriers still have items outstanding for delivery.
(6.4): INCORRECT GOODS:
We are human beings, and we can sometimes make mistakes. If you receive an incorrect order, please send an eBay message with a description of the problem, the invoice reference, and the product code from the packaging.
(6.5): QUALITY COMPLAINTS:
If you have any concerns about a product, please get in touch quoting your order number, the product name, batch code, and best before date for us to investigate.
 
 
7. RETURNS:
ALL RETURN MUST BE AUTHORISED AND MADE VIA EBAY’S RETURNS SYSTEM. UNAUTHORISED RETURNS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
Buyers have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return and return the goods. Buyers are responsible for all return costs (unless we have sent the wrong product or a product is not as described).
 
DEFINITION OF AN UNAUTHORISED RETURN
 
(i) if eBay’s return procedure is not followed correctly, or
(ii) if a buyer refuses to accept delivery (and our courier is used to return undamaged goods without our permission), or
(iii) if goods are returned to us as undelivered because all attempts were unsuccessful, or because the buyer failed to communicate with the carrier to re-arrange their 3rd delivery attempt in time
 
We do not refund unauthorised returns. If we receive an unauthorised return where delivery attempts have all been missed, a re-ship is available subject to a £6.95 delivery charge (per 30 kilo piece) –is payable by PayPal. If no response is received from the buyer after 14 days, the item/s will be disposed of.

    My dogs love this product. It won’t be every dogs treat, but mine love it added to their kibble. My dogs are very active, weather this makes a difference I don’t know. They have wonderful silky coats and healthy teeth, which I believe is because they eat wet muesli with dry kibble. The muesli is very much like a doggy version of Alpen, oats mixed with cornflakes, corn kernels and other bits too. Very reasonably priced dog food.
