Great pair of headphones. The OG Xbox one Microsoft headset without the adapter, plugs right into the updated xbox controller and works mint. Works even better, surround sound, with Dolby Atmos for headphones with PC or xbox one enabled. Makes these sound great. The mic works well n tucks away when not in use. Great value for what u get. Thanks for shipping so fast!!

Because it's not a cutting edge headset, Microsoft's XB1 Stereo Headset is easily overlooked. I'm buying my second via eBay after using one from Target for a weekend (I didn't have a headset in another state and couldn't find the standard headset so I bought one only to return it before I went back home). Basically, the stereo sound is good quality with adequate bass. The fit is a little more snug than maybe I'd like but I'm a tall adult male with an average/above average head size so more people will probably find this VERY comfortable. I didn't like that there was no standard mic-monitoring but it sounds like Xbox One now supports it with most/any headsets connected via the 3.5mm jack on the controller. The stereo headset ADAPTER that typically comes with this unit removes mic monitoring, for whatever reason, but makes sure older Xbox controllers can use the headset. If you have a newer controller or an Elite controller, you're all set and don't need the adapter. For the price, you won't find a better headset. It's comfortable enough for long play sessions and does a remarkable job with precision in left/right channels that I really notice a difference from most other $30-$50 headsets. In order to exceed this value/performance you'll need to jump well into the $100-range for a headset.Read full review

When I first tried them on, i instantly heard the static noise everytime I moved the wires. Very annoying, especially if everyone in the party can hear it. Other than the static, the noise sounds good, bass is nice. Great headphones, just the static is very annoying, 3 stars.

I've order this headset about a week ago and it finally came in yesterday and once I've finally used it, my friends in the party chat keep saying it makes a static noise and the mic doesn't even work? Waste of $20. Never buying again.
