All Delivery Dates are estimates, and we use A pallet courier to deliver our goods to you outside of stoke-on-trent

NOTE: **IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES UPON RECIVING YOUR ITEMS INCLUDING QUANTITY QUERY OR EXCESSIVE DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO US WITHIN 24HOURS OF DELIVERY**
 
STANDARD DELIVERY – Our Standard Delivery is usually a 2/3 day Service. For some locations & rural areas it can increase by up to 2 additional days. All delivery dates given by us are estimates and an exact delivery date will only be confirmed by Halcion upon booking.
 
Next day delivery is also available (Next Working Day) at a higher cost.
 
Deliveries are usually made with an 18-26ton rigid lorry with tail lift and manual pump truck. THE DELIVERY IS NOT ON A HIAB/CRANE
 
For Delivery this requires an even, level hard standing ground for the offload and enough room for the lorry to manoeuvre, as the driver will manually pull the pallet/crate on to the kerb from the road. Please let us know about any potential obstructions before delivery as any issues may incur a re-delivery charge at £30+ per pallet.
 
If you order and we are unable to deliver due to the terrain, access, driveway construction, failure to be present on the day, failure to sign for delivery, unforeseen weight issues from the manufacturer, then alternative delivery options will be the customers responsibility and we take no liability for any additional charges that this may incur.
 
At our discretion we may absorb some of the charges depending on the circumstances.
Milton Garden Products Deliveries are NOT made by our own wagons outside of Stoke-on-Trent, and so a third party is used – Halcion. Any delays in Haulage that may occur that lead to customers incurring costs, Milton Garden Products accepts no liability. We advise you only book in Landscapers / Tools / Hire Equipment / Labour once you are in full receipt of your goods. If you advance hire / book in labour and your delivery is delayed, Milton Garden Products accept no liability for any incurred cost.
 
If you decide to cancel the order due to delivery not being possible or for one of the reasons above, you will be entitled to a refund minus the cost of the delivery and the cost to return the goods back to us. A refund will only be provided minus these costs, within 14 days of the goods being back in our yard.
 
Deliveries are theoretically made to curb side, and can only be moved up to a few metres from the back of the tail lift, although the driver will generally try to accommodate as much as possible.
Deliveries normally occur between 9am and 5pm.
 
Once your order has been placed you will be contacted and provided with an exact date of delivery.
 
Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries will be made to the kerbside or the bottom of the driveway, using a tail lift vehicle.
A signature is needed for delivery.
 
The Delivery vehicle will lower the product to the ground using an electric lift. The pallet of products is then pulled off using a manual pallet truck. It is imperative that the ground that the pallet is unloaded onto is flat and solid. Access may be needed for a rigid lorry (up to 20ft) otherwise additional delivery charges may be made. For larger orders alternative delivery methods can be arranged. Please call our office to discuss any delivery requirements.
 
Our customer services team will advise how to prepare for receipt of ordered goods. Our delivery team are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your goods.
 
We do not deliver items to multiple addresses.

•Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays.
 
Preparation for receipt of delivery
 
When contacted by Milton Garden Products to arrange delivery please:
 
•Confirm address details and leave a day-time telephone number so that we can contact you if necessary on the day of delivery.
•Ensure the delivery area is flat and solid enough to take the weight of a pallet truck carrying up to 1 tonne in weight.
•It is advisable to have someone taking delivery that is able to help the driver as they may occasionally need help to unload.
•Please advise Milton Garden Products of any constraints which may restrict access to your address for our delivery vehicles.
•Failure to be in and to sign for the stone, will result in re-delivery which may carry a charge.

Payment
 
Payment of the purchase price in full is required at the time of acceptance of the order by the Milton Garden Products.
 
Delivery
 
The purchaser may cancel the order up until 48 hours prior to the delivery date, this is due to the dispatch process being complete
 
and the goods no longer in our hands. Where the purchaser wishes to cancel an order prior to dispatch, Milton Garden Products
 
shall issue a full refund. Where the purchaser wishes to cancel an order once goods have been dispatched, the Purchaser shall be
liable for the return charges. At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned, the price upon refund may not be the same as
 
the original price paid, some items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
 
 
 
 
Goods will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the purchaser. If delivery is unsuccessful due to either:
 
 
 
 
i. An inaccurate or incomplete delivery address;
 
 
 
 
ii. No-one being present to accept delivery;
 
 
 
 
iii. Inaccessibility; then, once another delivery date is arranged, the Purchaser will be charged additional delivery charges for each
 
 
 
 
attempted re-delivery.
 
 
 
 
Delivery will be deemed complete when the goods have been offloaded at the nearest accessible point to the delivery address,
 
 
 
 
which in many cases will be the property kerbside. Delivery required any closer to the property will be at the Driver’s discretion.
 
 
 
 
Handling & Storage after Delivery
 
 
 
 
Immediately after delivery and examination by the Purchaser of the goods, the purchaser shall be responsible for moving the goods
 
 
 
 
to suitable protection. Milton Garden Products takes no liability for goods improperly stored or handled.
 
 
 
 
Quality & Description of Goods
 
 
 
 
The nature of our natural stone products means that the appearance, colour, tone and texture may vary resulting in the actual
 
 
 
 
physical stone differing in shape, size, thickness and appearance from the photographs used on our Webpage and e-commerce
 
 
 
 
sites, such as eBay. It is strongly recommended that Customers request physical samples of stone from any range before placing
 
 
 
 
orders; customers are advised to visit Milton Garden Products to view all products prior to ordering. The Customer is responsible for
 
 
 
 
ensuring that the goods are suitable for their intended purpose. The goods are sold on the understanding that they are of natural
 
 
 
 
stone which is subject to natural formation characteristics, variation in colour, texture and markings and are all part of the natural
 
 
 
 
makeup and appeal of natural stone.
 
 
 
 
Fitting
 
 
 
 
Milton Garden Products recommends that the Purchaser employ only the services of a qualified and experienced fitter in the storage,
 
 
 
 
handling, laying and sealing of all natural stone and porcelain. We also recommend that the Purchaser use a good quality, suitable
 
 
 
 
adhesive and grout, we currently sell RESIPLY, please ask for details. Natural stone paving needs to be sealed using a good quality
 
 
 
 
and recognised sealing brand in order to prevent the chance of fading and discolouration, we currently stock AZPECTS EASY SEAL,
 
 
 
 
please ask for details.
 
 
 
 
Returns & Exchanges
 
 
 
 
To prevent the likelihood of breakages for the order we advise to order full packs rather than split packs, due to the product being
 
 
 
 
removed from its original packaging to a less secure half pallet.
 
 
 
 
If the product arrives damaged then the purchaser is required to provide photos showing the damage within 24 hours of receiving
 
 
 
 
the goods. If slabs are damaged upon delivery then we ask for the purchaser to sign for it as ‘Damaged’ on arrival. They must notify
 
 
 
 
Milton Garden Products within 24 hours of receiving the goods to arrange refund or exchange. We recommend that you open the
 
 
 
 
package by only removing the top layer of polythene to reveal the slabs inside. From here a thorough inspection of the slabs can
 
 
 
 
be performed and a count of the exact number of damaged slabs, including photos can be taken. Photos can be sent directly to
 
 
 
 
our office via: please include the purchaser’s name and address for reference.
 
 
 
 
We require the damaged, unused slabs to be returned to us prior to us processing a refund or exchange for replacements. It is the
 
 
 
 
purchaser’s responsibility to return the slabs, the pack or packs must not be laid as chips and damages can occur in the process.
 
 
 
 
Only full packs can be exchanged, do not use any of the slabs out of the pack as you may lose your right for an exchange. Do not
 
 
 
 
start laying the slabs and then notifying us of damages as we cannot take liability once they have been unpacked. Any damages
 
 
 
 
or unusable are the customers responsibility to exchange, and any cost to return or redeliver lies with the purchaser.
 
 
 
 
We will NOT exchange, replace or refund for: breakages, chips, damages or discolouration up to 10% of the full order, as this is
 
 
 
 
considered ‘Spillage’ with stone. Each order should consider an additional 10% extra stone to cover cuts and breakages. Stock
 
 
 
 
cannot be returned and refunded for over-orders as we consider the purchaser to have ordered the correct amount. We do not
 
 
 
 
accept returns where there is excess stone, disposal of any items is the purchaser’s responsibility.
 
 
 
 
All advertised thicknesses of Indian Sandstone is for guide purposes only. However, due to the nature of the product a tolerance of
 
 
 
 
plus or minus 25mm can be possible. Some Sandstone comes with unique flecks and speckling, hairline cracks which occur in natural
 
 
 
 
products, these are not considered unusable.
 
 
 
 
At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned, the price upon refund may not be the same as the original price paid, some
 
 
 
 
items may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
 
 
 
 
Milton Garden Products shall accept no liability in respect of any defect or damage arising from the fair wear and tear, wilful
 
 
 
 
damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, effective or poor installation, misuse, alterations or repairs of the goods.
