      Efficient lightweight iron

      This was a good choice of iron. It is easy to use and store. A useful feature is the guard that prevents the iron leaving the base whilst carrying it around. The steam power is impressive and makes for speedy ironing. Very happy with it.

      Inferior to its predecessor

      Product arrived in good time and good order. This iron is not as good as the original steam generator from Tefal. The steam seems delayed somehow. Quite often it doesn’t steam whilst on the material- only steaming as you replace the iron on the stand.

      Tefal steam generator SV6940

      This item makes ironing a pleasure, had previous one for over 10 years before replacing it with this one. Great for getting creases out of my linen skirts and husbands shirts look like new. Highly recommend.
