    Casio Gshock Watch

    I have another Casio G-Shock and have had one since the 1980s. The one I had until purchasing this one was beat up due to years of use. I purchased this one and it was in like new condition. I expect to get years of use out of it. I have dropped these watches off of three story buildings onto concrete and lost one under the hood of my truck for months, they still worked. Not fancy but keeps perfect time. Great watch!

    Water condensation in watch on 2nd day of use.

    This watch is supposed to be water resistant for up to 200 meters, but it got condensation in it on my 2nd day of use, apparently from washing my hands. It turns out that the back cover had been removed, perhaps for battery replacement, and then been carelessly replaced, pinching the o-ring gasket which was protruding from the cover and causing the leak. I’m waiting to see if it will dry out. It was the watch that I wanted, and at a decent price, but I’m very disappointed about this. I have ordered another one, perhaps unwisely, hoping that I get what I was supposed to get the first time.

    Best watch I ever owned.

    I always knew the time accurately. Never took it off but for occasional cleaning. Never gave a thought to protecting it from hits, bangs, and dings. It always worked. The battery lasted about 10 years...toward the end of the battery life, it didn't synch with the Ft. Collins atomic clock almost (living in NJ) every night like it used to.

    I was very familiar with this model of G-Shock

    I ordered this watch for my son. I've had mine for over right around 12 years. So far my son is very happy with the watch I just ordered. These are the best watches I've ever owned, never once has a band ever broke, nor has it ever went dead. I may just order another watch just because.
