  • I'm hoping to believe!

The book is in perfect shape. I'm slowly reading it. I'm hoping that it convinces me that God is real. I'm sure Jesus was a real person, but I'm not so sure about God. I just lost my son to cancer. It was his third time in having it. He fought it for 4 years this time around. He was a chaplain but as he got progressively worse, he felt God had abandoned him. If God was a loving God as the bible says over and over again, then why does he have people killed and let others suffer so much. I've gone to church my entire life but have not felt the presence of God. I'm hoping this book will convince me and help me to know that my son is in a good place, a happy & loving place.

Still, there's a lot of food for discussion, and can be used as a basis for contemplating how we mortals tend to assess things, without realizing how things like confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance bias our assessment. And it inherently raises other ...

  • Great Book

Great book for those who have doubts and need a little more 'factual' or 'scientific' proof when it comes to their faith. It's become sort of a classic in the Christian community.

  • Excellent book

Amazing book. Excellent faith builder for Christians and would also be a good book for non-Christians as well who are seeking truth and have questions about Christianity.
