    It’s Cisco

    This is a great switch for home power users and small to medium sized businesses and for anyone looking to learn about Cisco layer 3 switches. It’s a relatively inexpensive modern Cisco switch, so it will have the performance and features one would expect. I purchased this for my home to connect several devices, including a large media server, and to segment my network. This has been a huge improvement over my previous setup where I was only using my TP Link Deco mesh router and extender. I should note that I also added a dedicated (older but still very capable ASUS router) router into the mix, which I think also helped with internet access improvements.     Great switch for the money. It has been a awesome first time layer 3 switch for me. Works perfect for my home lab and is very quiet after the initial boot up.
