    Having read the negative feedback in most dash cams, I bought this one from a discount store. Brand new sealed in the box, hard wire kit and rear camera included. Had it professionally hard wired in my Evoque. Phone app connected to the cameras WiFi, sd card formatted automatically, images are spot on. Downloading and editing videos very simple to complete. The unit fits to the left of the rear view mirror and is hardly noticeable due to its size. Can’t see why you would need an onboard screen to to honest, I’ve had one previously and didn’t use it. I would highly recommend the Road Angel Halo.

    Good quality hard wire kit made it easy.

    Really good piece of kit. Bought for my sons car as he’s just passed his test. Both cameras are good quality and the picture is excellent. Easy to install and is neat with no screen to distract you. The camera connects via Wi-Fi with no issues and the app is really good contrary to other reviews I have seen. Make sure you get the hard wire kit for ease of install. Took less than an hour to fit to a MK 4 Clio.

    Solid built medium size camera

    Good solid built camera medium size footprint on the windscreen I’ve seen some lots bigger works well and has a good app to use it with on your phone or laptop even though it can be a bit fiddly to use on a standard smartphone screen. Not sure what the Mute button does as when pressed it still tells you what it is doing? There may be some more information in the app somewhere? No issue with it at all since installation about 1 month ago looks and works great. Dave
