In Math Blaster Episode One: In Search of Spot, kids ages 6 to 12 embark on a journey to save Blasternaut's dog Spot, who has been captured by the despicable Trash Alien and taken to a far-off planet. The only clue to Spot's whereabouts is the trail of litter left behind by Trash Alien. The journey itself is composed of four missions.<br><br>In Trash Zapper, kids help Blasternaut earn the tractor beams needed to collect all the garbage floating around in space. Next, in Number Recycler, addition and subtraction skills are necessary to turn all that trash into fuel. With enough fuel, Blasternaut heads to the underground cave where Spot is held captive in Cave Runner. Once there, children need to navigate through the cave by fitting the number on Blasternaut's jet pack into the proper sequence.<br><br>Finally, the Math Blaster mission brings kids face-to-face with Trash Alien on the surface of a desolate moon. If they can solve enough math problems, Spot will be saved.<br><br>This first episode in the award-winning Math Blaster series helps students with everything from addition and subtraction to estimation, number patterns, and percentages, with plenty more in between. There are six difficulty levels, printable award certificates, and a parent mode.
